As we here at Jacob’s Quest strive to bring our wines closer to you, it is sometimes difficult to get the stores to go along with our plan. But thanks to a true JQ supporter from Brackenfell, in the Northern suburbs, we have succeeded to list our wines in Tops Protea Heights. Our JQ supporter is anonymous to us, but we thank him dearly.

Also, on the 1st of April 2011, in the beautiful town of Franschhoek, a place called WINES opened. They give the smaller, unknown wine cellars the opportunity to sell in their store. And luckily, we’ve been listed. They do tastings daily with special tastings on Saturdays. If you are in that area, go in, have a tasting and view their spectacular wine selection (buy some too won’t you)

For those of you who prefer your drink at a bar, Happy Landings Sports Bar brought JQ to their wine list. They are based in Rondebosch.

Good Food & Wine Show Durban 25-28 November 2010

This past weekend was a new and exciting experience for the JQ team that attended the good Food & Wine Show in Durban.  The hot and humid climate seemed to be perfect for working up a thirst for some ice cold JQ wines.  The show started off rather slow and only showed spikes of people coming through and experiencing the wines on offer.

Definitely there were some new friends and fans made at the show.  The JQ Petillant wines worked really well in the hot and humid condition offering a nice and refreshing alternative.

Being towards the end of the year and with the Festive season approaching quickly the visitors selected the JQ Petillant Rose as their Christmas drink of choice.
